Just wanted to share a quick but super beneficial tea recipe that my partner Tash has been brewing up each day for the last couple weeks as a great anti-inflammatory/anti-fungal drink that nourishes the body.

– 1 cup raw fresh turmeric root
– 1 thumb size knob of ginger
– 5 cups filtered water

Place all ingredients in blender for 30-45 secs, pour into saucepan and bring to boil then turn down and simmer for 5 mins.

Enjoy on it’s own or Tash’s favourite with a dash of soy or coconut milk, pinch of black pepper and half a teaspoon of black seed oil (pepper and a little bit of good fat helps with absorption of curcumin from the turmeric)

****note turmeric stains everything!!! BE careful 🙂
