I’m far from an expert on blending or smoothies however since becoming a Fire fighter healthy, nutrient packed meals to go have been something I’ve had to learn! I now have a nutri-bullet and the following are a couple basic recipes which I generally manipulate depending on what’s in the fridge:-)
#1- 2 cups coconut water/milk ( depends here on timing if I need more calories will use milk), 1/2 ripe avocado, BIG handful kale or spinach, 3 tablespoons of mixed seeds or can use nuts (almond or macadamia), mint (fresh or dry), turmeric (add this to pretty much everything as it’s amazing ), finally some lemon juice or stevia to sweeten. Then BLEND, Be grateful and enjoy!
* I also add coconut or flax oil but not essential.

#2 – 1-2 cups coconut/almond milk (unsweetened), I piece ginger minced or dry granules, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom, 1 heaping tablespoon cacao powder, I tablespoon of tahini or cashew/almond/Brazil nut butter(NOT one of all:-)!!! Then blend, be grateful and enjoy.
* again can add more like chia seeds as great hydration, omegas and fibre.. But think the key is to start simple get routine then expand!!
